When I first got into triathlon I really enjoyed reading other athletes blogs as everything about the sport seemed so overwhelming — from how to train for 3 separate components simultaneously to all the gear required to race nutrition, etc. As a way to give back, I wanted to do the same to hopefully help inspire some new triathletes to take the plunge, literally!
This was going to be a section documenting some of my triathlon training leading up to my first full Ironman 140.6 in October 2020. Obviously, with all of 2020 canceled that didn't happen. Instead, I cut back dramatically on training, did a bunch of household projects I've been putting off for several years, and ate a bunch of ice cream! Check back in 2021 as I prepare for IRONMAN Chattanooga next September!
